Headlining the communications plan
The Division of University Affairs tells the compelling stories of the University of Missouri, our state’s great flagship institution. As the public relations arm of Mizzou, we develop clear communication standards to promote a consistent identity. Our messages speak to multiple audiences and embrace all academic and administrative units as well as our community of scholars, students, staff and alumni.
Our communications detail the faculty’s exceptional teaching and distinctive discoveries in research. They reflect the university’s long-held reputation for service to society, and they demonstrate its impact on economic development statewide and beyond.
It is our job to clearly reflect and promote the university’s plans and priorities. We do that through media relations, print publications, websites, video production, social media and marketing. Likewise, we build the Mizzou brand through community relations and events that draw visitors, future students and supporters.
